I have had this bumper kit for over three years and finally got it built. I love the look fits awesome and it is 3\16 plate steel. It should be a lot more protection over the light stock one.

Does that bumper not have a winch mount?

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
They are pretty much a shell with mounting points for the frame. They are not designed to handle a winch or at least in my eyes they are not I've powder coated a few of them.

I mean, it's a good looking bumper, but just doesn't seem to have a lot of utility.

So if you can't winch on them, that must mean you can't really yank on them either (snatch strap). So those shackles are just for show?

Those might be integrated to the mounts.

It's 3\16 steel with extra gusset and bracing in the back. If it comes off I'll have more problems than needing a bumper. You can get it with winch mount but I didn't have the need for one. I just do mild off roadiing and it's a daily.
