Overlays take sixty seconds, and that includes cleaning with IPA.

 

And the finish last longer on these plastic overlays over then plastidip on chrome badge.

I’m all about the easy button ... not saving a buck.

 

Mines been plastidipped since day one and they look exactly like they did when I sprayed them. *shrug*

 

I got overlays for sale if anyone is interested. $40 shipped.

 

I got a set from Amazon cheap ass overlays. I made a thread, and I must say the oem ones are by far a better product. They are more flexible, better double sides tape, the finish looks better and the cheap ones or the ones I got could see some chrome on the top. The fit and finish is better, hence the price. I don't feel bad paying $100.

 

I order these and so far been happy with them. The only thing I did notice was that I had to press them on good at first and hold some pressure for about a minute on each until I felt like they were glued down good. Maybe that's normal for all overlays
