    does anybody know if i will need an extra tube to weld the muffler on or is the stock piping 2 1/2inch?

    5% tint, black emblem/grille/etc, 10k hids, Flowmaster super 44, Tuff Country 3", 1700w amp, Kicker L7 12.......and on
    I'd recommend the new Super 44 Flowmaster series, I replaced my stock muffler on my v6 with a single in-out muffler and have significant power gains and it roars like a lion just like a truck should.

    X2 on the questions above. I'd like to know if this is a direct bolt on. When you enter toyota tacoma on jegs site they don't come up with any dynomax, and the application chart for the one you listed doesn't have the tacoma on it.

    i got that part number from another TW member. that seems to be the one most tacoma owners are putting on.

    i still havent installed it yet, im very slow with this stuff since i cant do it myself. if i could weld it wouldve been on the day i got it ya know.

    I got the muffler installed finally!

    i took it to a shop next to my work and they welded it on for $50. it was a direct piece. they didnt have to use any extra piping for it. and i think the hangers they reused also.

    i like the way it sounds, not too loud or quiet, its just right. accelleration is a little bit smoother also. TOTAL COST WAS ABOUT $110 FOR MUFFLER/SHIPPING AND INSTALL

    overall im very happy with it. NEXT WILL BE HEADERS!!!!!!!!

    Had a
    $75 Dynomax 17748 Exhaust Muffler for Ford Ranger
    Dynomax 17748 installed the other day. $50 for the muffler and $40 for the install. I had the guy use the same tail pipe but cut it off just after the axle. Welded the old muffler hangers on to make it secure and it works great so far. I love the sound and not having highway drone is a plus.
