My 2009 is 2 weeks old and I have heard the following noise 4 or 5 times. It sounds like a pop or clunking sound from underneath. It happens after about 2 - 5 minutes of driving. Smooth roads in 2WD. Any ideas where to look?

Check your mud flaps to see if they've folded back. When mine broke, they would fold back at high speeds and then pop back into place upon braking. I removed the flaps and the sound dissapeared. Its worth a shot.

I drove the truck last night and today, and no noise. It definitely sounds like it was coming from the mud flap area. If I hear it again, they are gone. The truck drives great, so I don't think it is anything mechanically broken. I will check back if I can pin point it.

Also, thanks for the post on the buzzing sound from behind the glove compartment. Tie wraps fixed the problem.
