it really seems you have more money than time, and love solving really trivial issues with overly-complex methods.

have you by chance considered running for any sort of political office?

If you're interested on wasting time on this,

why don't you just find a higher spec filter to install,
or modify the truck to accept one

so let me get this straight,

people get 1M miles without pre-filtering their oil
but you want to do that

instead of say, an accumulator, to provide full and high oil pressure right at cold start, like what people put in track cars

Better start pre-filtering your fuel and air

    well, there's already
    -cabin filter
    -engine air filter
    -oil filter

pretty sure since 2005 if not earlier, Toyota opted to not have an independent (and replaceable) fuel filter to preserve life of the fuel pump
like what a car has, $20-40, in rear underbody area

OP could solve that real problem instead, and actually have a marketable product

some cars have it in the engine bay
tiny V6 leaves plenty of room for one

Some of the questionable gas I’ve had to use down here in South America makes me wish there was a replaceable fuel filter. I for one would be in for one. Would be a very marketable product in my opinion.

This is a level of boredom nearing mental illness. OEM filters don’t have the best filtration because Toyota puts more emphasis on oil flow , especially on cold starts. Just change your oil like everyone else and be done with it. If you really want to benefit your engine run 5w30 which has a thicker film. Either way plenty of cars get past 200k without filtering through a 2um filter.

To aid in your OCD, tell us about how often you’re going to filter your differential oil to get all that glitter out. Either way your head gaskets won’t care how filtered your oil is when they let the coolant mix in with it.

Yep, I’m a member over there too. 1/2 those guys are nut jobs. Going often 20k or more on the same oil, ridiculous… lol

Wonder what OP thinks about my oil change today using 5/40? 4 quarts dino 2 quarts synth. All they had in the coastal town of Iquique, Chile. It was either mix and match that or go with 10/40 mix and match.

Lol did that shit right next to a fishing pier too. Oh I’m screwed now I’ve got contaminants in my oil, and fish smell too.

Yes I’m a smartass. Get over it.
