I sold my Tacoma about 3 years ago, and have always missed it. I've been driving a Jeep Wrangler since (which I love), but it's not the best for work. I own a pool store/service business and I needed a shop truck so naturally I started looking at Tacoma's. I found a 2001 extended cab TRD and bought it yesterday for a steal. It is the exact same truck, just a different color. Same model, options, fraying driver's seat belt, exact same rip in driver seat, non-working clock unless I tap it, broken extra cab window latches, etc. Got me thing about how many of these are out there with the same issues?

Oh, and it has 200,007 miles. The one I sold a few years ago had 279000, so I'm sure I'll have it for awhile. It hit 200,000 when the seller was driving to me so no video. I'll get the 300,000 for sure!

    Nice!

    Welcome back to the club.

The only issue I have with my clock is that I can't see it unless I lean over to the side. Worst placement for a clock EVER! I actually forget it's there because there's the one on my stereo.

Been a while since I owned an extracab, but yeah the latch thing is a known thing. Search around here, I think there's a guy who makes/sells a metal one.

i don't think the issue is with the clock placement per se, but rather your steering wheel :notsure:

Just installed those aluminum latches, it's a thing for sure.

I'll probably get paranoid fabs dual switch mount to replace the OEM clock. Worst placement ever haha
