Just wanted to take a moment and say thanks to all the TW members. Extra thanks to Chris4x4 and Optimus2009.

Installed new OME shocks with 885 springs and AAL's in the rear. My truck came with the XSP package so I had the 20in rims (I know a lot of you off-roaders aren't big fans, but had to work with what I already had). Also put on a new set of Cooper Zeon LTZ 275/55/20. Truck rides VERY smooth still on the road with very little noise (but I've also insulated and dampened the entire cab already:D).

Wouldn't have been able to do it without the help of this forum. Just wanted to say thank you again to everyone who has posted in the past with Suspension and tire information!

Look great man! Looks like you're pretty close to perfectly level which is what I am eventually going to be shooting for. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the 885s got you about 2.5" up front? Also, how much rake did you have stock and what size AAL did you use?

    Chris- Thanks

KMR- Yes, got about 2.5" up front. Chose not to do the top spacer for the full 3". Read many different opinions about alignments and UCA's. Thought I would keep it on the safe side at 2.5" for now as I don't go off road enough that I need the full 3". I might put on some new UCA's one day and finish out for the full 3, but for now, it works fine. Never took any stock measurements on the rake, but pre-measured at the wheels to see if I really went up 2.5" post install. I used the 2" AAL from Toyotec. w/o the top spacers

Looks good, i did the same thing but added the 5/8" top shim, and wish i wouldnt have. Get a slight vibration at various speeds. According to here, its not bad, but im anal and it drives me nuts. No one else in the truck can feel it but i can through the pedals!

Your truck looks good! What size are the tires? 31's or 32's? Do you think you'll be able to clear 33s with that set up?

    Herm,
I guess technically these are almost 32's (31.90 to be exact). It is a tight fit tire though with this configuration. Close the UCA's but it does not touch or rub them at all. No rub at full turn forward, and an ever so slight touch, only at full turn in reverse.

    Ryan,
I know how you feel. I chose not to add the spacer only for some of the concerned members stating that its suggested to replace the stock UCA's at 3". Didn't have the extra jack to spend on that and rims, so I stuck with the safe bet. Still a little pissed I've got a smidge of rub though at full turn in reverse, but considering that is almost gone at this point just by putting a few miles on the tread.....its not all that bad.

You would probably benefit from more caster. Does it wander at highway speeds?

That being said, I've seen worse

Actually I think it drives pretty good at highway speeds.....no sway or wondering even at 70-90 mph. Stays pretty darn straight.

Very good - thanks for the alignment info!

i'm about to pull the trigger on an OME lift and cant decide between 884 w/ spacer of 885 without due to the possible issues with alignment and highway driving (about 75% of my driving is highway @ 75 MPH).

The advantage of going 884 with Top plate is that if the alignment is poor, i can remove the top plate. Disadvantage is additional price (about 70 dollars). Don't want aftermarket UCAs

Cash, just like everyone else that opts to go with 2"-2.5" instead of 3".

although i've been going back and forth on this for weeks now - i'll see what the group buy price is...

on a $/lift basis, it probably makes sense. TBD, as always...

If alignment issues are your main concern , I would recommend the LR UCA's , good value for the adjustment benefit
