I’m happy with how the truck rides. It does sit low in the front. I’m at about 23” front and 24” rear. I had my CMC done today which helped with the rubbing for sure. My wheels are Fuels with -12 offset. I’m debating if I want to add spacers to bring the front up. I’ll post a side pic later if anyone is interested.

What size tire you running? An man your truck looks awesome. Your truck has made my mind on what to get. Did you go with the hd Dakar since you have the shell?

Thanks man. I’m using the HS 3 pack AAL with the factory overload so I got a full 2” lift in the back. It feels better than stock to me as well. But I didn’t actually care for how the truck felt stock, too bouncy for me.

I had an 03 tundra back in the day with a Deaver leaf pack. It was advertised as a 1” lift with being able to hold more weight and be better off road by having more leaves but smaller in size. That thing sagged so bad I swapped back to stock a few days later. Long story short, I have a bad taste in my mouth for aftermarket lead packs.

Plus my truck had the first generation total chais upper arms with no grease fittings.. between those and the bushings in the leaf pack, my trucking sounded like a squeaky bed frame all the time.

I’m probably way over thinking this but I have a Med Duty Dakar Leaf Pack EL095R that’s about to go on my 18 DCSB OR. I want to plan ahead and get u bolts long enough to accommodate shims if needed. What length u bolts you guys using?

The u-bolts from the Dakar leaf kit are long enough for the shims as well as the centre pin. Leave a little extra length on the pin just in case

I got everything installed about two weeks ago...5100's, OME 888 and Icon AAL (overload removed)

It seems that the front is about an inch higher than the rear. Has anyone else noticed this? Will it settle to level?

    Thanks!

Settling on OME coils is very hit or miss. Some people (like myself) only get 1” from 886s and some get full 3” from 888 with no settling.

Makes sense. I guess I’m more concerned as to why the rear is lower.

AAL provides around 1.5” or so, 888s generally provide just under 3” or so when brand new. Did you measure how much rake you had before ordering? Most people go with 887s if they’re doing an AAL, 888s with a full leaf pack.

Could be, some 3rd gens have only .5” or so of rake stock so it could just be that you’ll be a bit taller until they settle.

Ahh, I didn't know that! I think my OCD is settling in, hopefully the front settles a little bit too. It's been about 2 weeks and 1000 miles.

Measured this morning, 3 corners are at roughly 24.5" from hub to fender. Driver's side rear is at roughly 23.5"
