The Dakars squeak as well. I'm pretty sure they make way more noise than my three leaf AAL did.

In my experience all leafs squeak. I personally have had a variety of add-a-leafs and full leaf pack replacements and each one squeak. My factory leaf pack even squeaked a lot. It personally doesn't really bother me since the whole truck makes sounds but it drives my husband nuts!

It will over time. Usually a couple months depending on driving habits. Some people add weight to the rear like sandbags to help with the break in process.

Agreed! adding weight makes the dakars ride extremely smooth. I carry tools every day so it helps a lot

I got the leaf packs Dakar ones and they squeak like nothing else. I bought the better bushings. It is embarrassing driving with these things. They aren't even 6 months old. And only month and half with them on.the stock ones never made a sound.
Called twice and always get voice mail.

    just to be clear...
I have the 95r pack. Im going to be installing the AAL for them this weekend. The add a leaf goes under the 2nd leaf counting from the top correct? making it the 3rd leaf from the top?
If i were to install another AAL (making it a light duty pack with 2 AALs / heavy duty pack with 1 AAL), would i install that in the same manner - 3rd leaf from the top (making both AALs on top of each other)? thanks.

Huh? I don't understand what you're trying to do with two extra additional AAL on a 95R leaf pack? The 95R aka Light Duty leaf pack is 4 main leafs and two overload leaf. Where the 96R aka Heavy Duty is 5 main leafs and 2 overload. What are you trying to accomplish?

I believe he is making the light duty a heavy duty and just using the analogy of the light duty turned into a heavy duty turned into an extra heavy duty (as that is all the heavy duty is anyhow) as a way to clarify which leaf to put the aal under. Making it the same concept no matter how many leafs you add. Hope this makes sense and I didnt just make it more confussing.
