Truck looks great uncle joe! Do you have any other constant weight in the back besides the canopy?

I would bet either Deaver or Alcan would and could make you exactly what you are looking for...
I would almost even bet that you may just even be able to get this done through marie @HeadStrong Off-Road

You're probably right about this. Ill have to look into this more whenever I get ready to pull the trigger. It's probably still a couple months away before i'll be able to swing it, so that's why I haven't really pursued it. Just been reading and hoping id stumble across "the perfect pack" Thanks for the info!

Unfortunately, I live in the middle of nowhere Canada (Saskatoon) so purchasing your lovely Dakar package will kill me on the shipping. So i need to source from a few different Canadian scammers... i mean retailers, and have a couple quick questions about what i need to get.

If i understand correctly, when I order the EL095Rs I will need to also get new bushings for both ends? If I get the OMESB108's is one kit (looks to be 4 poly parts and 2 metal sleeves) just for one leaf pack, meaning I would need 2 kits?

Also, are the OMEU53A U-bolts the correct ones?

If there are other options for these parts too, please let me know. The prices for OME stuff here is absurd. $35 for a SINGLE U-bolt and $76 for ONE bushing kit is the cheapest I can find so far...

Have you checked General springs. Everything I’ve read their HD springs only lift 1.5-2 inches. That’s what I’ve been leaning toward.

Tomorrow I am adding my Dakar's and kings to my tacoma. I have the 095s and plan on adding the AAL and subtracting one overload. Do i remove the top/longer overload, or the bottom?

@HeadStrong Off-Road I may need some new leafs in the near future. weighing all options. running a second hand set of allpro expos, and they have served me well. very flexy, nice ride. but are sagging under all my weight / age of leafs. My truck is heavy, heavy double thick skids, sliders, bumpers, tire swingout etc. factor in when loaded for a trip, with RTT and gear, saggy ass syndrome. is the dakar HD pack available for second gens? is there an aal to add in if I have the need?

Has anyone had an issue with the stock e-brake bolt not going in to the Dakar predrilled hole? It's like the hole in the Dakar is too small for the stock bolt size. I tried several bolts similar to the size and they are either too larger like the stock one or too small and slide right in.

Are you sure it's tapped? Perhaps the last machining step was missed.

It was tapped, I can see the threads in the hole. I might have to find a tap and die set and redo it myself.

Are you sure the paint isn't obstructing it? :notsure:My stock fasteners fit but only one side bolts up, the other no way. And the side that does is to tight for my liking. I'm going to need to find an alternative solution. Current have them zip tied out of the way.
Anybody else have a solution for the securing the e-brake line? Thanks.

I'm positive. I had my two buddies, who helped with the install, attempt also in case I was just messing it up. I took a pick and cleaned what ever paint was in the threads out. The bolt is definitely too large for the hole that is currently in the Dakar. I have a weird clunking noise coming from the rear end also and I'm hoping it isn't the e-brake cable interfering and getting caught on the leafs. I thought I had them out of the way but perhaps not good enough.
