I'm about to install the OME 886 springs in the front (have bumper and steel skids). So I'm looking for a little higher ride in the back! Did you extend your brake lines?

I have not extended my brake lines, yet. But I did space up the mounting bracket on the axel.
If your bumper has a swing out for spare, etc. you definitely want to make it a heavy pack. I have all that plus bed bars and ~200 lbs of tent so ~450-500 constant load. I like rake and with the "96's I ended up with ~2"s of lift in the rear which in turn is 1" of rake compared to the front. Loaded for camping it pretty much sits level. I think I'm going to be adding a leaf to the "96" pack but need to see how it sits with the tent off. Hope this makes sense to you.

I did extend mine. If you go offroad and flex your gonna pull the stock lines tight. I went 4 in the rear and 1 in the front. I too have 886 springs. I do not have bumper and skids yet but they are in plans. I have been running this setup for almost a year and I am happy with it.

May I ask what you mean by 4 in the rear and 1 in the front? Sounds pretty sexual LOL. And by chance have a picture of your truck? Thanks!

HAHAHA!!! I meant +4 inches in the rear and +1 inches in the front, this is for the extended brake lines I went with. Let me see what I can dig up for a picture.

Still haven't made a decision on which leaf pack to get. The 96r or 95r. I have a constant load of 250-270Lbs on the bed. I want to achieve 2 inches of lift after break in period. Would the 96r be to stiff/rough in the rear with the constant load i have on? Or would the 95r be a better choice? Will be paring leaf pack with King 2.5 rr with adjusters.

You want the 96r. The 95r rides nicely at that weight but only gives about 1.5-1.75” lift.

Would the 96r ride stiff or rough with 250Lbs of constant load?

Can’t answer that. I have the AAL to convert my 95 to a 96 but need the time to swap it in.

Get the 96. I have the 95 and with a constant load of 300 lbs, there is almost no difference in ride height coming from stock leaf packs and an AAL. I may have to add one or two more leafs, or maybe a ride rite airbag system. Just installed today the 95's today along with OME 886 in the front, and my front end now sits much higher than the rear.

I have the 96 and I carry no weight in the back. I love how it rides and looks. I say go for it.
