Subb'd. I need to do some more reading on this as I'm not entirely sure which set would be proper for what I've got going on just yet. But I need to decide soon. Trucks getting a bit nosier as of late.

For those running heavy as crap loads in your bed, here is how I’m sitting. I’m running the heavy duty pack plus an extra leaf. So super duty. Lol.
I have a hc rear bumper with swing out, topper, roof top tent, and a heavy storage system in the bed. It’s a lot of weight. And the heavy duty pack plus aal holds her nicely.

My EL095R pack has 3500 miles on it and I added the EL46XL AAL to it 150 miles ago. Measurements from flat ground today has it sitting at 25” on both sides with about 150lbs worth of crap and half a tank of gas. That’s about a .5”-1” increase from just the EL095R. It is stiffer but not bad and holds weight from a trailer a bit better. Towed an 8.5x14 flat deck with three ATVs (about 2800lbs) without much change in ride height. I haven’t loaded the truck with gear yet so no comments on ride or height maintained from that.

How much weight do you have back there @Patch92 ? I'm looking at ordering now but am double checking everything. What springs are you running up front? With shipping to AK, I wanna get everything I need the first time. Thanks for any wisdom you can share!

    I’d say...
    - Bumper with tire and full jerry cans: 365
    - topper : 175
    - tent : 135
    - storage system full of gear plus cooler and water: 250 lbs

    I’d say around 900 lbs.
Dakar Heavy Duty pack is rated to 660 lbs. I had a little too much sag in the back with all my gear and the heavy duty pack, so I added the extra leaf. Sits good now. And doesn’t ride super stiff, even when gear is unloaded.
I have the OME bp51 kit. So I can adjust compression and rebound as well, which helps with the ride. And I have the standard bp51 springs, pre loaded to the winch and bumper setting.

It’s about 2”. I have the BP51 kit, set at the winch and bumper setting. It looks a little low in that picture, it’s slightly compressed by the way it’s sitting.

Will do, I'm flying down so will have to learn to navigate in real cities again in a rental. My last trip to your area was '99 for Pinon Canyon fun with the Army. They have some funny rules out there with "protected dirt" Gonna hit a Rockies game though! Will be down around mothers day.

I have the EL095Rs, want to install an EL46XL. Do u need a new center pin? Was it a pretty simple install?

You do not need a new center pin.
I had the 95r pack. I added 2 leafs to each still using the same center pin.

That depends on how short you cut the center pin when you did the install. I had just enough threads left to accommodate the AAL but not by much.

What kind of shocks would work well with the HD EL096R pack? Seems most are for 0-1.5 or 3-4 inch lift?

So given these numbers, would the hivemind recommend the 095 or 096 springs?
