Solid colors are about the easiest colors on the planet to match. They should be able to butt match it without any issues, and at the most panel paint the door.
If he had one of the metallic colors, we'd be talking about blending the back door too.

Any reputable bodyshop can match the color. I'm saying it's one of the hardest ones to blend though. That's all.

I was just noticing my 17 OR and there is Probly a 1/4 difference in gap from the bumper wraparound to the rear fender. From side to side. Should I demand it get fixed Or just let it eat at me. Or stick an aftermarket steel bumper on it.

Blending by definition is partially extending color into an adjacent panel in order to hide a color match
Solid colors almost never require a blend.
Solids also eliminate the need for any "special" blend within a panel technique. There are no coverage issues, effect coats, flop, or metalics to deal with.
Saying white is difficult to blend is inaccurate because it doesn't need to be done.
It's also one of the easiest colors to match.
In fact, super white is still shot single stage from the factory. So if the OP is in a state that still doesnt have low VOC requirements, they should easily be able to just spot it.
No need to get him any more fired up about it than he already is. It's a pretty simple repair.

The more you know. I'm not a painter. I was just sharing what I was told from a bodyshop.

Mine is like that as well...not worth the trouble to me, I'm the only one that notices it anyway
