    Hi everyone. Been out of the truck game since 06, then bought a Colorado. It was a basic truck, no bells and whistles. I wanted a 4x4 so I upgraded and got the Tacoma for invoice.

    This is my first Toyota. There's quite a difference between the two. Chevy V6 had more grunt and I liked the tranny better. Tacoma has better build quality and I like the ergonomics better. Chevy had more squeaks and rattles, but the Tacoma does make more road noise. I did some reading on this new engine and it's quite complex. Duel fuel injection? Wow.

    Just getting used to the truck and I'll be taking a 300 mile trip Monday Glad to be a part of the community. I use the forums quite alot and have got a lot of good info over the years.
