New owner, new member, first question.

Just bought my first Toyota. It is a 2012 Tacoma with power windows and locks, 4cyl access cab. Just a basic truck for my needs and a few wants.

If anyone knows, how can you tell if the vehicle came with keyless entry if you only have the key?

I purchased a brand new Toyota remote to see if it could be programmed to vehicle. I was told that if the vehicle has power windows and locks it should have keyless entry.

I had a 2008 4 cyl access cab basic model with power windows, door locks and did not have keyless entry.
