So did anyone read what I said about being able to get the Glock 23 gen 3 instead? Lol and if so if that's a yay or nay?

I love carrying my G36...my favorite glock yet. I will say if you decide to carry a Gen4 make sure your holster has material between you and the gun and not just a drop in holster, the grip will wear you out. At least it did on me.

Typicaly, the recoil is a bit less on a Glock, as the bore axis is much lower than most all other Semi auto pistols. Sig comes close, but the rest are much higher up.

Had my first Glock jam yesterday due to a warped shell. I've put at least 10k rounds through my 17, 18, and 26. Love blocks. Simple and accurate. So they safety's to trick you!

    Tony we have to talk!!!!
Glock is a great pistol for the money.
I have owned most of the 9mm, .357sigs, and all the .45s.
Never had a case hit my head yet.
Ammo, grip, ect can make big differences in shooting.

The Glocks I shoot nowhere near as accurately as my 1911s but $500.00 vs $1000.00 Plus Plus makes a huge difference in my ability.

All that said I usuall carry a Glock or a S&W snubby.

I hate being so picky. I think I'm over-analyzing. The only reason I debated between the 23 gen.3 is because it's been around longer and haven't read a bad review.

If the Glock grip angle fits you, you wont be unhappy either way I dont think

9mm will be cheaper to buy than .40

    back to bone stock.
glock 21SF here!! it feels and shoots like a cannon. i am more accurate with my sig226 in 9mm, but i bet it is a recoil issue and not a glock issue.

i lightened the trigger and things got alot better. i love it and keep it as the first go-to piece when the electricity shuts off for good.

Well after reading mixed reviews about the 4th gen. I decided to cancel the sale. I went to another shop and they have new 3rd gens that come with three 15rd magazines for almost $100 less. I am going to get it hopefully Thursday when my parental unit is off work. I will post pictures when I get it :D

Oh and as for the holster I will think about it. I'm not going to open carry so I'm not sure, but I might want it just to have and use.

I bought a gen 3 glock 23 a little over a week ago and I absolutely love it. In the past I always thought glock owners were kind of full of themselves, I have to say, I was wrong. I see many more glocks in my future.
