Ok, So I just purchased my first Toyota Tacoma and I noticed that the rad hose is a little hot. Is this normal after just riding for a few miles?

One hose will be hotter than the other untill your thermostat fully opens. You ARE talking about your big, radiator hoses, correct? The water in the hoses take away some heat from your engine. They will normaly be hot. Your temperature light doesn't come on, does it? If no, dont worry.
