Anyone had good results with Maaco and their paint jobs? I got a good estimate with them just want to know if they’re worth it

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
The more trim you can take off the better the paint job will be and good luck!

They have never been known for there quality work and it may actually lower the value of your 1st gen. However, if you're on a budget and that's your best option or its gonna keep your truck from turning to a rust bucket go for it.

Any other recommendations on where to go for a quality paint job?

I've never done a full repaint of a car/truck but I know to get it done properly can be costly as they have to disassemble a lot of the truck. I'd ask around locally, check yelp, google maybe post in your regional section on here and see if anybody has first hand experience with resprays in your area. If you do go with the Maaco route I'd stick with your same current color, looks like Black and try to source OEM paint.

Darn. If you were in SoCal there’s a shop where I got mine painted for a pretty good price.

Perfect. It’s on the border of Roubidoux. Economy paint and collision. I paid like $1300 for Metallic silver with door jams painted. W/O jams was like $1050

    Everything but the driveshaft. B03A - 410
Search the 1st gen forum for Maaco. I remember a member having a jade Taco repainted that looked good.

You get what you pay for with an automotive paint job. Maaco is cheaper than most but they are known to be lesser quality. Expect to pay at least a few grand if not more for a "good" auto paint job.

Could always consider a wrap instead but those are about as much as a good paint job

The jams are just as clean as the outside. I wanna say they taped over it because the lettering on the sticker isn’t clear anymore. It looks like they taped over it and once they ripped it off it took some lettering with it
