New photos again..

Yep, that's the top photo.
You might try your landscape mode, that will read the exposure from the most areas of the picture.
I shoot Canon and am not familiar with Nikon at all other than they are outstanding, even the point and shoots.
Try the auto and portrait settings also, I think the sport mode will crank up the ISO and you don't want that.
Take lots of pictures in lots of light settings, you will find what works.

I'm being picky but you want to get better right? So, your wheels are bit over exposed (they look like white circles), so slow down the shutter a little bit or since the sun is really bright crank down that ISO some more.

 

Well I've only had the camera since Christmas, but I'm learning. I could have adjusted the exposure a bit. But You never notice til its on the big screen


But I will try that sometime. Now tomorrow though

 

Some focus would help on some of the shots. Make sure you press the shutter button half way for the auto focus to engage, then press the shutter button all the way.

And like everyone said, invest in a tripod! They're like $20, and can do so much =]

 

I completely forgot about that feature. I will use it next time. And I will get a tripod when I got extra money flowing.... Right now its purely for the LT kit
