    The new unit is definitely snappier and responsive. One issue I’ve had in both units is that some songs disable audio until I cycle from CarPlay to Radio / XM and back. Has anyone else had this issue?

    I do have the same issue, although I never attributed it to specific songs. For me, I just hit the voice button to quickly activate and dismiss Siri on my iPhone and that resolves it. Doesn’t happen all that often for me.
