The maestro is pretty damn cool.

Also for those thinking of buying, on Amazon they have some of the pioneers like the 6600 with a free camera.

I believe it only does two cameras.

I’ve got a kenwood dnx997xr and they have a dash cam (drv-n520) that integrates with the head unit. I wasn’t really sure what to expect but figured I’d give it a shot and I really like it.

not sure if other manufacturers have something similar or not.

Sounds awesome. I’ve got a Vantrue dash cam so it probably won’t work, but I’m not married to it.

Yeah I don’t think I’d buy a head unit without it unless you have a 2015 or older truck. It does a ton of stuff including the gauges which is kinda cool

Do you have a full parts list with wiring harness and everything you used for this install?

just from the OP’s picture it looks to be about 7.5ish. If no one else provides an answer I’ll measure when mine arrives.

I'm not sure where the $100 difference is. You can go to Pioneer’s website and compare the 2. That’s what I did before I bought & I didn’t see the value in the extra bill.

This is everything I ordered. The second image is optional unless you want satellite radio and your factory satellite antenna and GPS antenna to work. You can use the antennas that come with the satellite radio & the Pioneer GPS antenna but I don’t want the 2 extras.

That's good to know. I can put that up on the marketplace as soon as I make the switch, ha. And you just program the Maestro on how you want to control it? I haven't messed around with a Maestro yet.

Yeah it’s all wizard driven. It’s pretty simple. Pretty much just punch in all the details about your vehicle and head unit and configure the buttons

    Looks amazing.

could you update the first post with everthing needed?
I know it’s through all this postings but to make it easier to reference.

Thinking of going this same exact setup.

anything yet that you don’t like? Pros and cons?

Thanks for posting this OP. This is exactly what I’m looking for to replace my stock etune. How does the back up camera look on that screen? And can it do multiple displays, say show Sirius and Apple Maps at the same time? Thanks.

Loving mine. It's what the Tacoma should have come with. The screen is great. I use Alexa to unlock my door or open the garage as I approach the house. The wireless AA works great to. No issues like I've heard people have with wireless. Only down side is you can't have Alexa and Wireless AA connected at the same time. This is ok with me as I only use AA for Navigation. I ordered a premium bezel to test the fit. Initial measurements say it might fit almost perfect. If it doesn't my current milled bezel looks pretty good.

Few questions if you don't mind :)

Any chance you can measure the actual LCD part of the screen? I cant find it anywhere online.
Why don't you use AA for anything else other than nav? How do you play your music?
When you were shopping, did you notice any difference in the 6600 and 7600 other than the physical aspect (modular)?

Thanks again for the info, trying to figure out if its worth the giant pain of returning my unit to crutchfield and getting this one.

I think for the most part it's identical to the 7600 except for being modular. I listen to XM. I'm 43 and just like to listen to music. I'm not super picky about music and don't really care for having to build play lists and find music. Just want to have it come on and boom. Music.
