One step closer than I can get. I don't get the transfer button to become active. Tried about 337 different settings/wifi/bluetooth options.

What is the collective opinion on the responsiveness of this unit?

I watched a review that had some pretty scathing remarks regarding the performance of the touch screen.

I like the aesthetics of it, but if it's as slow as the review made it look, then it's a hard no.

I started in the Android community with the PX5 and PX6 as my first two upgrades from Entune Premium. They were lightyears more capable than the Entune, and faster all around. I moved to the WC6600 for two reasons. Better wireless carplay performance and significantly better sound. I noticed good performance out of the WC6600 and my iphone on iOS 12. When I moved to iOS 13, I has some delays in connecting, but once connected everything operated at speed. I still believe that the WC6600 is lightyears better than the Dasitia PX6, with good overall response.

I suspect you're going to get a wide range of answers as 'responsiveness' is pretty subjective.. When I'm using CarPlay, it seems to respond as fast as I'd want it to, I don't notice a lag. When using the Pioneer software, it's sluggish. The wireless connectivity was my biggest concern before buying this and I'm happy to say it never fails to connect (well, maybe once). I don't really use the Pioneer side much except sometimes for HD radio. I always use CarPlay for XM, Podcasts, Spotify, etc so I'm pretty pleased with the unit's abilities.

What he said ^. I agree there’s just a bit of lag, like one second sometimes when using carplay. Like when pausing the song. The sound quality is amazing. Stock Entune is detuned apparently. The 6600 is rich, full and tight. Sound processing features and EQ are helpful.

This is a ton of awesome info! Two questions: Does the headunit work with a stock JBL system on a 2016 Limited? and could someone list out exactly what is needed to keep the SAT radio, steering controls, etc for a perfect setup. Thanks!

Did the research and, after more hours of review than I am proud of, I pulled the trigger on this mod. I'll be back here if I run into any roadblocks, and may actually post some photos for once.

I don’t think we’ll get tired of this head unit for a long time. It will be a lot of enjoyment for the investment!

I don't have mine yet, as I just ordered it last night, but reading through the manual this does have Network Mode available.

Just curious but what does network mode mean for this thing? Is that connecting to local WIFI or connecting to a phone via WIFI or some hotspot thing? Or all of the above?
