15% sales tax is rough but at least you get free healthcare so I guess it's not THAT bad....
Down here, you basically just die if something really bad happens and you can't afford healthcare LOL.

Ok after having them a bit I kinda like them. They are good offroad and average on the road. The real question is how will they be after a year or two though.

What do you mean "average on road"?

Not as good as a dedicated highway tire in the rain but not scary like a mud tire. A bit noisy.

I have these and I drove down to Baltimore from NJ last month. A lot of it was in the rain and I had no issues. Much better than the factory Dunlop’s but that’s not saying much

I responded earlier in this thread. I put a set of E rated 275/70/18's on my F150 14 months and 20,000 miles ago. I'm still VERY happy with them and would put them on my Tacoma when they need new tires. They've done a great job on wet pavement for me and have impressed in mud. Here in GA we tend to get 1-2 snows on average every winter, but got nothing last winter, and so far none this year so I can't say how they do in snow. But with the 3 peak rating I'd think they would be decent.

I have put about 25K miles on my set. Good through 2 Maine winters. They have even and otherwise acceptable wear. Very good on the logging roads I frequent. I get a good ride on pavement when I run them at about 33-35 psi. Very good ride on logging roads when I air them down to about 23 psi. I would buy them again.

Mine are getting really really really noisy like a mud tires on old jeep howling. Also I noticed some weird nub that is popping out of one of them. It's much taller than the tread too:

If you are near one of our store locations, feel free to stop by or make an appointment, our guys would be happy to check it out. If it turns out to be a object that's punctured the tire we offer free flat repairs.

Thankyou, whatever it is it's rubber I'm thinking a factory defect of some sort. Local disount tires told me it's just noisy all terrain tires. I have an appointment with another shop to put it up on a lift and go over everything to see if noise is tires, struts, wheel bearings, differential howl, etc. The treadwear looks funny to me so I don't want to replace them until I know exactly what is going on. It looks like a heel toe or "sawtooth" wear.

According to my phone it's 82decibels inside the truck at 55mph with the windows all rolled up. So it's loud lol.

Looks like a rubber plug. Did you have a flat repaired at some point?

I thought the same thing but nope, no flats. Maybe they found a nail in it when rotating them and plugged it w/o telling me.

Just got mine installed on Monday, love them so far. I stayed with 265/70/16 as the majority of my driving is road (it's my daily) as well as it being a 2wd TRD OR and no plans to do any lift. I'm happy with my decision!
