How'd you get the Toyota off?
Are you planning to dip it and then put it back on?

I used power pro fishing line. Gonna find some 3m tape to attach it.

Don't they come silver already? Or is that pic before you dipped them?

With plastidip you do not have to remove the badges. Look on YouTube there are tons of videos. Plastidip dip is great stuff if applied correcrtly. I dipped my chrome grill, rear bumper and badges. Great for changing colors without commitment.

Hawkshot yes they're silver ( chrome) I painted them primer grey as I thought they would match my decals plus I saw a lot of people doing black. My next adventure will be to do the emblem in the grill the same, just have to do a search as I would like to remove that before painting it

I dipped my grill logo withing 36 hours of bringing the truck home. The rest of the logos will have to wait for the warmth of spring.

Just pop the hood, and you can release the logo easily. 2 little tabs squeezed together, and you can pull the logo out easy.

Just tape around the emblems. If u just tape about 1 inch from the emblem and give it like 3 coats it just peels around the letters leaving the dipped letters nice and clean. Then u take the dip out of the inside of letters using a toothpick. Works great!

Get a newspaper and give yourself some room for over spray too.

No need to remove, just place a trash bag or cardboard behind the grill and tape off. Super clean removal.

Man those two colors play well off each other. Nice to see something other than black for a change. Is it just the light, or is that gunmetal/dark silver?

Fitz, yes my thoughts exactly, lots of black and red out there. Primer grey I guess you'd call it

That is more effort than just removing the Toyota logo from the grill. Removal takes 10 seconds. You do not need to remove the grill from the truck.

The front emblem pops off very easy and I am a noob. Seems like more work to tape off etc and paint while on the vehicle. And you can do the rear logos with emblems on the vehicle. Tape a border, spray and then peel off excess.

I was referring to dipping emblems my bad for not being specific. I removed my grill when I dipped it and ur right it was a quick task to remove the grill.
