Hey guys!! Figured I would let you guys know about the new product now in stock here at Toytec Lifts!

    Timbren Active Off Road Bumpstops!
The Active Off-Road Bumpstops offer off-road enthusiasts greater control over their vehicles’ suspension travel. Using progressive-rate springs means that instead of a hard stop at the end of axle travel the axle energy will be absorbed when bottoming-out producing smooth, predictable and quiet axle engagement and disengagement.

Unlike the OEM bumpstops, Timbren uses superior natural rubber compound ensuring the Active Off-Road Bumpstops will continue to operate even after a lifetime of off-road abuse. Similar to our Timbren SES line, Active Off-Road Bumpstops carry a lifetime warranty and a satisfaction guarantee.

    • Maximize Axle Travel
    • Smooth Axle Engagement & Disengagement
    • Enhance Front Suspension Performance
    • Progressive Spring Rate
    • Absorbs Energy & Cushions Road Shocks
    • Stronger Than OEM Bumpstops
    • Easy Installation
    • Lifetime Warranty
    • Satisfaction Guarantee

I had a couple questions about these..

    1. Do these work the way the other Timbren's do? In that they help to increase load capacity?
    2. I'm thinking of adding a progressive add-a-leaf to my 2018 TRD PRO Tacoma, and removing the overload. This is not great for loading the vehicle, but should actually increase ride quality. I was going to add a Timbren bump stop, but I want to increase payload to make up for the overload being removed. Would these work for this purpose?
    3. I'm also wondering if they will work with a 1.5 inch lift, or will I need one of the Timbren spacers? If so- do you happen to have a link or part numbers for the longer bolt/spacer needed?

Thanks in advance! And sorry for digging up an old thread...

    Hello Brandon,

Answering your questions as you asked them.

    1. These specific bump stops will NOT increase your load capacity, they are simply a more "robust" style bump stop to optimize your suspension travel and smooth out axle engagement.

2 and 3. They will work in conjunction with the amount of lift/ style of lift you are going with, but again they will not increase your load capacity overall.

If you are interested in the load capacity bump stops, shoot me a pm with what you are going to be carrying and I can do some digging for you to find the proper Timbren product to fit your needs :)

    Thanks

    David

On the Timbren rears with u-bolt flip kit, do you know if the u-bolts are long enough to accommodate an OEM pack with 3AAL?
