For all you 05-15 Tacoma owners, we now have 1 inch body lifts in stock!

This body lift kit is a great way to give your truck an extra inch of wheel well clearance and allow you to fit larger tires with less rubbing. You can also combine this with any of our 3 inch lifts kits as well.

Here is a example with our 3 inch suspension lift and the 1 inch body lift installed.

    ^^^^

Does the lift need any more alterations or extras to the mechanics of the truck?

As for the 1" gap in the rear bumper... what's the solution?

    More details, please.

I attached the body lift instructions for those interested.

Right now, there is not a good way to raise the rear bumper beyond just unbolting it, raising it up, and welding it back to the brackets. We opted to leave it at stock height and the gap really isnt that noticable since there already is a decent gap from the factory.

I know we took a picture of the gap but i can't seem to find it right now. I'll post that up once its located

    Dat gap.

Looks pretty straightforward. I would think the brake lines need extending, especially if this is on top of a 3" suspension lift...

No need to extend the brake lines! The lines go from the front suspension or the rear axle up to the frame so that distance isn't changing when the body lift gets installed.

I've got a steel plate bumper, it hugs the body line pretty well so I don't think a 1 inch "gap" would be bad at all. I shall find out the hard way that's for sure.

I'd like to find out more myself as to whether anything else needs to be modified to accept this kit. Or does it only being 1 inch not be enough distance to affect things like steering shaft, stick shift etc..

Sub'd, also looking for options on how to close the rear gap and install time. I did a 1" BL on my old titan and it made a big difference.

Toytec says the rear gap has to be filled with custom modifications but I don't think it's bad at all.

Install time with two ppl who've never done a body lift was less that 2 hrs.
