The 22r engine from my 83 is finally in the 79 toy and it's running. He is a picture of it. There is more to come. If you guys have ideas of what I should do send me a message.

Omfg, the break are rusted as hell and I can't even push the truck, and another thing . When I first put the 22r engine in the 79 body it ran, drove it up the street a few time and then when I was just sitting and running it died. So thinking it was the lack of gas I fill it up and now it won't start, i think I need to do a quick tune up and hopefully that will do it, the oil is black as night since the guy didn't take care of it

Oh thanks alot man, got the truck running, for some reason it was having trouble getting fuel, I disconnected all the fuel tubes and it started right up and I changed the spark plugs just bc they were old, going to flush all the fluids and change the break pads

I've been researching gears at these two sites for my '72 Scout II. I'm looking to upgrade the Dana 44's I have to 5.13 gearing with 34x9.5 tires.

You running lockers? If so, which ones?
