    Howdy All,

I recently purchased this DCLB 4X4 SR Tacoma and plan to turn it intoan overland vehicle. I left Jeep after 12 years and while it was a greatoffroad platform the Toyota seems more "sophisticated". I amcompletely in the dark about Toyotas though and do not want to chase my tail asit were.

Specifically I would like to do the following:

    Add a small lift (2-3")

Get some quality tube bumpers front and back without weighing thetruck down

get some protection for the belly

    put rock guards on it

    Questions:

Will lifting it void Toyota's warranty?

Does an OME lift require spacers, diff drops, driveline work etc...

I am going to keep my stock alloys and run 265's-285's, will the liftaccommodate this tire size without rubbing?

Any other tips, tricks, DIY stuff I should know about these trucks would begreatly appreciated!

    CHeers
    Brett

285s you will rub a little bitt. and need to remove front mud flaps and trip.

    265s your in the clear.

Rock guards go B.A.M.F. fabrication rock sliders.

and lifting it will not void toyota's
    warranty
