Hello,
I just traded an old project ram for a 15 Tacoma 2wd with a blown up 2.7. this is my first Toyota since my first truck (91 Toyota pickup with the 22re) so i will be relying on y'all for lots of info. I want to turn it into a gas saver/hunt truck project. my daily is a ram 2500 with the 6.4 hemi. so hunting camp for the weekend and back is roughly 50-60 gallons.

If anyone has any recommendations for motor swap threads or what direction i should go in next i would appreciate it. With what little research i have done i have found that this little 2.7 is expensive af. I've seen some threads mentioning ls swapping but i haven't ventured down that rabbit hole yet.
