its also not just the LEDs that cause the shitty beam pattern. the projector design is also garbage. you're better off returning it and getting your money back. getting new OEM housings and doing the Ultimate Upgrade or if you're handy enough you can retrofit proper OEM projectors in the chinese housing

The projectors were probably designed for a halogen bulb.

Even projectors designed for halogen are garbage if the quality is poor. We're not talking about Koito or Hella projectors. They are probably no name plastic junk with poor light distribution no matter the bulb.

Spec D headlights (garbage, Do not buy) replaced bulb with H7 80W Osram Off Road bulb so I could actually see. The lights they send do not put off any light at all and it's impossible to see anything at night... TOYO Open County AT III's (smooth ride, not loud) with Matte Black 17-In. TRD PRO Wheels Plasti dipped emblems and Bull Bar (Lasted about 2 years, need to spray them again)
ok, so I've been going back and forth with the guy with the porcelain wiring harness and that is not going to help my situation...
I've tried 3 different sets of LED bulbs, he suggested a high powered halogen bulb (Phillips Racing Vision GT 200) but the plug for the headlights is only a 2 prong. The stock 3 prong coming from the truck plugs into the entire assembly that splits to the parking, headlight, and daytime running...
So, any other solutions? Does someone have a completely new Projector kit with LED bulbs? Ready to Go set up please!
Can anyone use my stock headlight casings (the passenger clip that bolts onto the truck just over the wheel well broke off when removing) or can anyone use/modify these projectors (paid just over $300)...??!
I can't see anything at night! I put LED's in my fog lights and those throw light everywhere, but help me see a little...

I wouldn't sink any more money into those headlights. I have the exact same ones with a morimoto hid kit (35w ballasts/relay harness/ h7a bulbs), and light output is not great. I'll take a couple pictures later, but the bottom line is it's not worth it.

Pick up some OEM take-offs and do the ultimate headlight upgrade, or buy some pre-built retrofits.

Let's all slow down a bit here folks. First of all, the OP said in his first post that the bulbs for the new aftermarket headlights were H7. The Ultimate Headlight Upgrade utilizes OEM headlight housings - which use 9003 / H4 bulbs. So that harness isn't going to work. You might be able to find one for H7 bulbs, but getting more current to a very poorly performing LED bulb isn't going to gain the OP much of anything. (And forget all of the marketing claims made for those bulbs. They're simply ridiculous.) Let's face it, the optics in those aftermarket housings suck and the aftermarket LED bulbs are as bad or worse. Together you end up with his current nightmare. I'd be interested to see what an H7 halogen bulb looks like in those housings.

OP, If you want my 2 cents, look in the classifieds here for some used OEM housings. Install them in your truck along with the Ultimate headlight Upgrade and be done with it. Oh, and have dramatically better lighting too.

You've got to get over your infatuation with LED bulbs. Forget the marketing claims. 99% of them flat out suck. Why do they suck in a housing designed for halogen bulbs? Read this:

but the reflection off road signs and the lines on the streets during rain with LED's is great! Especially in the Rain storms in Florida...
Ultimately, I want the projector headlights from a current Corolla/Camry... Those put out so much light. I wish someone would make those for my Tacoma!

One should never confuse glare, scatter and excessive foreground light with better / more efficient lighting. A good LED bulb will not give you as much of those unwanted traits. Most of them have been pulled off the market due to pressure from the government though. (Think about why they might do that.) The cheap ones (eBay, Amazon, etc.) will give it to you by the ton.

For those recommending going OEM housings with the Ultimate Headlight Mod... +1, DO IT! Light output is amazing.

The thing most of you are forgetting is that the illumination source (the bulb) is not the problem. The optics (reflector & lens) are the issue and trying to put more light through a crap optic isn't going to fix the root cause problem. You'll just (possibly) have a bit more light in a crappy pattern. The bigger risk is that the scatter and glare will also get multiplied blinding oncoming drivers. What you're doing is throwing more money down a rat hole. To each his (or her) own.

Here are pictures of the Spec-D (K2Motor) headlights with Morimoto 35w ballasts/relay harness/ h7a 5500k bulbs. @Lostoam311 I suspect retrofits are in both our futures.

    In order of distance:

Definitely some issues with those projectors. First, the passenger side light is aimed higher than the driver side. Second, it looks like the passenger side is clocked / twisted up on the right side. The first issue will be much easier to solve than the second.
