Just had my 2016 TRD SBDC in for the exact same thing. Small drips of water along the carpet and a small amount collected on my weather tech mat. Dealership swore they ran it parked for an hour and had a technician drive it around two different days here in Florida. Could not duplicate problem. Platinum warranty still active. Only 55000 miles, don't agree there should be ANY water inside the cab, would lead to mildew damage and smell, which reduces the value by a mile. Vacuumed mine several times before dealership, picked it up and drove it 25 minutes, got to my destination there was water on the mat, I duplicated it in less than an hour? I suspect the 90 degree turn the drain line makes into the firewall grommet might be the culprit, next day coming to work no water? Totally baffled, would REALLY like to correct this problem. One other thing, some TW posts said recirculate fixed it, mine did not make a difference. Hope this helps TW loyals find this pesky problem.

Just had this happen recently on my 2016 Tacoma. I have been running recirculation for about 4 years during the hot/warm weather here in SC. I never ran fresh air for some reason but I was reading you should not run recirculation all the time bc mildew will develop in your AC evaporator. So I started running the AC NOT on recirculate and noticed small water drops in my passenger side floor board. I never noticed it before when running it on recirculation and I’m a very observant person. Luckily it appears to be normal for some Tacomas. I just don’t understand why? I took mine to the dealer and they say it’s just condensation but I didn’t think It was normal to have water dripping in the cab.

I’m having this situation on 06 Tacoma. I’ve owned a bunch of these and never encountered a problem so I can’t buy into the “it’s normal “ line of thinking. I have checked the drain line and pumped a can of cleaner foam up into the hose, it’s appears to drain normally. I also checked and complied with all the service bulletins on water leaks coming from windshield, antennae and resealed over and above what the factory did. Installed the rodent screen to keep them out then made a hat or deflector to make sure water can’t leak into the air intake. I’ve narrowed it down to the AC unit as this never happens unless you use AC for about an hour. Thoughts?
