This. I will gladly take +40 more torque over an instrument panel design.

I just saw a video of one with a different cluster, both look good to me.

Screenshot_2018-11-17-09-29-40-1-1.jpg is it really that bad? Lariat trim
Screenshot_2018-11-17-09-41-38-1-1.jpg note that in the most common view of the truck from a Tacoma the cluster is not visible to those which it offends :boink: :D

I’ve noticed in different trims they use different clusters. My recommendation is go check it out for yourself.

Pretty sure that steaming pile of shit has less torque than our trucks.

The Tundra pre-facelift actually had a tach delete on the base model - blank gauge pod as a constant reminder that you cheaped out

Of course, the same problem doesn't transfer to other models. The Raptor engine is boosted to produce 450 hp from 3.5L or 129 hp/L, which is higher specific output than what Toyota dared to do with the 2JZ (320 hp / 3.0L = 107 hp/L).

Just read all 25 pages, one of the best reads in a while. Laughs, savagery, stupidity. Greatness.

Anyway for the truck I’m sure it’ll be alright, I love the looks but I’ve always liked the look of hilux’s over Tacoma’s. I bet the ranger will haul ass next to a Tacoma, but I wouldn’t trust that drivetrain long term. It’ll sell and, like the Jeep gladiator, I hope it does well. More competition is always awesome. However when you really think about it, how much competition does the tacoma really have? How many Colorado’s, canyons, and frontiers do you see wheeling? I’ve not seen any. I’ve seen a lot of rangers (old ones) but I 100% doubt I’ll see any new ones. I’ve seen quite a few tacos tho. So really there’s not much true competition here.
