Would be nice if Toyota would correct the disappearing TPMS too. Hopefully the remedy doesn't involve removing anything or replacing it. Tearing into the dash seems like a shitshow waiting to happen.

Pretty likely this will just be a firmware update and not require physical replacement.

Hopefully. Though this line made me wonder:

For all involved vehicles, Toyota and Lexus dealers will inspect and update the programming of the combination meter or replace the combination meter with an improved one.

Ugh. That sounds like a PITA if they have to do that. Hopefully most can be resolved with a firmware update.

Have you tried turning the ignition ON without trying to start. Just letting it wait to acquire the TPMS signal. Programming seems to be : [User start request], If no TPMS signal > Throw something up on the screen # something must be on screen because user is driving NOW. Of course, this is my wild ass guess.

Seems to work for me. Dunno if it will work for you.

Occasionally if I remote start, then drive without rebooting the truck, I lose all 360 & reverse camera functionality.

    hope that gets fixed
