This my third Toyota. Two 4 runners and now a 2016 taco. Overall very satisfied but they sure missed the target on the redesign of a few things.. Wheel well tubs are half tubs. They collect mud, snow and ice. Hit a bump and the fenders sound like they are going to fall off. The premium package worked for a week and failed. In the shop today to replace the BSM sensors. New part numbers so must be an upgrade to fix the fact the original install was prone to being damaged.

Happy with consistent 21mpg. Put a hard trifold extang bed cover on and keeps the bed dry aND secure. I'm 6'4" and find plenty of head and leg room. Solid feel, quiet and quick when needed.

    Overall very satisfied.

How many miles on it? How do you like the engine power and transmission? Any transmission issues like many others have mentioned?

Right at 2,000 miles. Trans hesitates under hard acceleration but not bad. Like any other auto trans, learn when to let up to make it shift. At 65mph it's only taching at 15 to 1800 rpm.

At 6'-4" do you find when you rest your left arm the window sill its too high and the door arm rest to low. I am 5'-4" and this I would change this in 2017. I understand the safety of the high window sill but the really low arm rest is unfortunate. I can't rest my left arm any place and just hold the steering wheel.
