New Redlinegoods.com leather steering wheel wrap with TRD thread installed

So my 05 Tacoma's leather steering wheel was getting a bit worn out and in dire need of a new leather replacement. I had two options:

Option 1 - Replace with the new 2012+ steering wheel - Looked around and did some searches but did not find much info for compatibility. The 12's had bluetooth and 05's did not. Asked the local Toyota stealership for a new one with airbag and was quoted over $1k. No thanks!

Option 2 - Refurbish current steering wheel - Looked around for a newer (lightly used) 2011 steering wheel. They were closer to very used. So I decided on redlinegoods. I have used them before on my Rubicon and was impressed with the leather quality.

My specs: Black nappa leather with TRD (red and gray) threads plus thumb grips and additional cushion. I asked redlinegoods to do the leather install so I shipped my steering wheel to one of their installers. One with patience can install the leather but I did not have the time or patience to. Turnaround from me shipping to installer to receiving my steering wheel was 6 days.

The nappa leather feels smooth and the thumb grips provide a better grip when hands are positioned 10-2. The TRD thread pattern looks awesome! Enjoy the pics!
