    Idk just bought it
New member. 2005 4.0L 6MT 4wd Access cab with 285k on the clock. Seems to run pretty good and drive straight. Previous owner/s had installed a RC 6” lift, new BFG tires, I think they put headers in it cause it don’t look factory, and left the inside really dirty.

Been doing some clean up on it and gonna go through it and figure out where it needs maintenance first. Few things I already know:
-leaking around A-pillars(having windshield pulled to inspect, hopefully just needs to be re-sealed)
-A/C is doing the blinking light thing, bypassed pressure switch and checked fuses and still isn’t engaging, gonna check that compressor speed sensor next
-noticed the boot on the rack and pinion is off on the driver side
-K&N CAI that’s trashed looking, want to go back with stock if I can find one or something much better if there is one

other than that I’ll start changing all the fluids and change all the “wear items”, belt, hoses, spark plugs, filters, etc.

I also went ahead and ordered HP Tuners with credits. It’s got a code right now that’s supposedly due to a O2 sensor. Most of my knowledge is in Cummins diesel’s so this is new to me. Trying to learn all I can.

Eventually once it’s reliable I would like to get the suspension more functional and not a street stomper and go from there. It will be used for hunting, trail riding, play, and occasional trip to town, but it’s not my DD.
