So I installed some Rigid Industries 360 series 4” LED With blue backlighting this weekend... I got the driving mode according to Rigid you get the best of both worlds with this set up “spot” plus a better driving light and one of the reasons I went with the rigid was two fold I wanted the old school round light but I really love their backlighting feature as you can see in the pics I went with the blue because it’s sweet combo with my cavalry blue off-road they also do red, amber & white ... *keep in mind the blue & red are NOT street legal*
I purchased the Cali-raised low profile ditch brackets and the Rigid wiring harness with the 3 position switch off / drive beam / backlight ... as far as the switch install & lights it’s pretty much plug & play the harness already comes with a wired relay and a hot lead with a 20amp fuse and the leads are pre wire to plug into the switch ... as far as the switch I didn’t really want to drill into my dash so I traced the little tray compartment onto a piece of black plastic and transferred the holes to match up to the opening and boom a perfect switch panel to drill into !
there are numerous vids on ditch bracket installs but very few vids on the Rigid 360 lights so I though I’d give y’all a few pics... if ya have any questions I’ll do my best to answer.
    Lights $349
    Harness $89
    Ditch brackets $59
    Total install time 2 hours
Difficulty 2 out of 5 at most 9514B84F-6270-4735-8D33-97B65794A4A5.jpg1CA94D04-024C-4E23-B5A8-A3C373D6BB71.jpgF2539F32-C923-4727-822E-98DBAE30370E.jpg4866F791-C0E3-4B35-9739-98FDF7DBF849.jpgB2F5F2B5-8225-46CB-891C-3200C9876FCA.jpg6A7200E9-81F4-443E-97E3-9D717C12A6E4.jpg0B46E7E4-9F62-46F3-A91F-C5D8A9C4721C.jpg04390C77-0D41-492B-BDCD-B36F7E00604D.jpg182A36D6-75E9-462E-84F4-95069DCF1031.jpgE2BB6792-F787-487C-9CE5-8C7C9E5B89D6.jpg4AFE7AA0-7041-4480-B3CD-EF36C4DD814B.jpgDCF9F642-AF7C-4BDD-A6EE-140475D15134.jpg9AF800BE-9A42-4737-9596-4FA9663B5724.jpg

looks good. How does the back light kick in with one button. Push once for back light push again for main light and push again for off?

Spanish moss and big oaks with an avatar of the truck on the beach and a UF plate..
I'm guessing south of the redneck Riviera and north of South Florida.
    Maybe Ocala? (ish)

Used to live on Jax Beach and dated a girl from Fernandina Beach.

Nice little corner up there, with close proximity to everything you need in Jax...

On the other hand they could be used to get a slow driver to get out of your way.

Oh I see, they mount to the hood hinge and not the cowl. Sorry, missed that at first glance.

Same thing with my tint. Anytime I'm around a cop the windows go down. Unless I'm in the HOV lane.

Yeah, until my friend installed a pair on his truck a couple of years ago I had the same question.

Is it possible to use the Cali raised OEM switch to get these to work? I have it ready to go, but now I’m afraid I won’t get the cool amber backlight to work with a regular switch. Is there a workaround?

from what I’ve seen it needs a 3 position switch for the 3 functions (Backlit, full on, off) rather than the caliraised two position (on, off).
