New Rims and Tires - Advice?

    Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
    Rim is a part of the wheel; the edge the tire seats against. You wouldn't say: "I put coffee in my coffee lip" "I put toothpaste on my tooth bristle." But you would say "I chipped the rim of my wheel when I scrapped against the curb".

    Yes, but wouldn't you say, "I chipped the rim of my rim when I scrapped against the curb"?
    The tire has a rim that we refer to as a bead and the rim itself has a rim. So, if I'm only looking for rims and not looking for tires too, then why am I saying that I'm looking for wheels? :notsure:
