New rock sliders o my Tacoma. Any advise on how to paint them?

    Hi,

    I just ordered from 4xIntervention rock sliders for my 2011 toyota tacoma sport, Im planning on painting the sliders. Any pointers or advice on painting them? Pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    I will be getting a set from another supplier in bare metal as well and thinking of having them lineX'd . I believe I saw a few threads of people that used the rustoleum BBQ black paint. I know I used that on my motorcycle engine and it worked wonders. Just use the clear adhesion promoter that they make first and do a few coats. Interested to see what others say.

    rattlecanned mine: sanded, wiped down with mineral spirits. Then primer, bed liner, and semi-gloss black

    Great thing is how easy they are to touch up when they get scratched
