    Hey dudes

Got a Cali Raised LED roof rack for Christmas with a lightbar and some pod lights. I never thought about this because this is my first roof rack install...but what do you mount the rack to on the roof?....Do you have to drill into the roof to run wires?......Intense thoughts here.

If anyone has some insight, feel free to drop your thoughts or experiences here, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks cuhs

When you remove your factory roof rails, you'll have holes with screws and that's for the new roof rack goes. If you do not have a factory roof rack, you'll have rubber strips that cover the same holes with the same screws.

Caliraised has install guides on their website. I would start there.

    Enough for now
Mounting holes are under the weather stripping usually covered by same paint color as the truck tape, remove the tape to expose the pretreated holes. No drilling required, actually please don’t drill into your roof.

Get some clear silicone to put in the holes when you insert the bolts to waterproof it. Wiring for the lights can be run down the driver side of your windshield, kc hilites sells a nifty wire hider for that exact spot too
