July's not over yet so it's Xmas in July for me too!

Just picked them up this morning. Got home, inspected, installed valve stems, & I'm at the tire shop now waiting to get them put on. :yay:

I'm looking at the 16x8 ray 10's. But I don't plan on getting a lift anytime soon, so I'm wondering if the BS/Offset will look strange with 265/75 r16's. Does anyone run these wheels on stock suspension?

When I had 265/75r16 with the same lift now, I had 3.75" BS wheels & it looked froggy to me when looking at the front or back of the truck. When I swapped to 285s I went to 4.0" BS which is perfect for my truck IMO. That's why I was happy to get the Ray10s since it had the same BS as my old wheels in the same size.

I don't have a 2nd gen but with 75s, less BS, & stock height won't it rub? I have no idea what the BS is on your stock wheels though.

I’ve got a Cement and gunmetal Ray 10s. I can post a picture once I get the wheels on, plan on doing it this weekend.

I've been having a hard time trying to find the BS info on these damn stockers... guess I'm gonna have to pull it off and measure
    What lift do you have?

I've got about a 3" lift. I forget exactly, it's been so long I don't remember my measurements from when I was stock.

Kind of irrelevant though since we don't have the same truck. I was just commenting that less back space with 265s looks froggy since less BS makes the wheels sit further out. But if your stock wheels are close to 4" BS to begin with you might be ok. It's just looks though but not sure about the rubbing part, I would think 75s would rub with stock height.

I honestly thought they'd rub too, but I guess the cooper at3 4s's have less rubber? No idea. I'm hoping the BS is close to 4" when I measure tomorrow. Does offset matter in terms of rubbing?

Generally yes but it depends on the truck (wheel well clearance) & tire size. With more negative offset (or less backspace), the wheel will stick out further (wider stance). So if you have a tire that close to rubbing, this will cause you to rub on the pinch weld. You can add caster to give you a bit more clearance if it just barely rubs but you can only add so much postive caster with stock UCAs.

Best bet is to go from experience, someone who has the same truck as you & has tried the same setup as you are wanting to. Another idea is measure the BS on your stock wheel, get a spacer to similaute 4.0 BS (if possible) & see how much clearance you have & estimate if the 75s will rub. I'm thinking you might have to chop & pound the pinch weld, hopefully not but really, sorry I have no idea
