I tried to order 4 of the RAY 10 - Matte Dark Bronze / 16x8 4.00" BS 6x139.7 and unfortunately it will only let me order 1. Seems kind of pointless. Does this mean they are already sold out? Do they do pre-orders?

Wow thats seems crazy considering how many people are trying to get a set. Pre-order would allow them to understand exactly how many to order get down payments and have X amount for stock. This method of order and sell out the first day they are posted online seems like bad business sense but I am sure I am missing something since pre-orders are nothing new.

Interesting... I have some learning to do! I don't fully understand the offset concept....
Do you know what the offset is on a stock wheel for more comparison, or is that (0) ?
Do most tires adapt to either wheel width?

Don’t know exactly off the top of my head but i think the offroad wheel is 16x7 +25 and sport model is 17x7 +30.
If the offset is 0, where the wheel attaches to the hub it will be right down the middle of the wheel.
If you have negative offset the hub attaches closer towards the inside of the wheel, which pokes out more. If it’s positive offset like factory wheels it will do the opposite
As far as tires, it depends what you want/like really.
But for factory wheels, it’s not recommended to go over 285/70 or 11” wide or something

Thanks for the edification: I understand much better now, I think! I am a TRD Sport, definitely 17" wheel... so i'm setting at +30mm now I assume... conceptually I like a wider stance, so i'd lean toward the 17x9 I suppose.

So what is the "backspacing" measurement? (The SCS Ray10) says 17x8.5 is 4.30" backspace vs. the 17x9 is 3.5" Backspacing

It’s similar, but backspacing measures the mounting surface to the inside edge
Offset measures center of wheel to mounting surface

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
Just so you understand. Both of those wheels will have a wider stance than the stock wheels do. The 8.5" wide wheels will be close to 2 inches out from stock and the 9" wheels will give it that "poke" look being around 3.5 inches further out than stock.

Now I know I might hear shit about this but here I go anyways

    :crapstorm:

The 8.5" will fit easier with most size tires/mods. Most people that get the 9" are either just looking for that "look" or are the few that have HEAVILY modified their trucks and need that backspace for clearance.

That is inaccurate for most of the wheels, the more exclusive finishes do go within the first few minutes but yesterday there was wheels available for almost an hour

I went on their page an hour early and put 1 random wheel in my cart and went to checkout and filled out all my info so it saved when The new stock came available. Worked like a charm. Also had my cc# copied so i only had to paste it.
