That’s one of the biggest reasons I didn’t want to go with Method. It seems like everyone and their mother has the same method wheels here in SoCal and they don’t have much of anything beyond a 0mm offset. Nothing wrong with 0mm but for those that want a little more aggressive stance, 0 doesn’t quite cut it.

That is exactly why at first it didn't appeal to me either
    However,
now they have a 701 which may look good to some people (I think it does), new style
that not everyone has. Never seen one in person
And, it has new bead grip technology that other wheels don't have

No idea about offset though. Yes I think it tends to come at 0 and I'm not sure if that's good or not.
On one side, I want wider track because a)it looks better and b) if you're up against a wall to the side, the tire offers protection by rubbing against it first since it's farther out.

However part of what makes it a Tacoma is the slim wheelbase allowing it to fit trails where big trucks can't, and I don't know if sticking the wheels a lot farther out would reduce that ability

Method does seem more/very popular and common in SoCal

Damn. The exact style I'd get if going SCS. Nice find. Probably the best way of doing it deal-wise.

That's on the silver ATH fab site display truck and it looks sick

I have a set of Method 701 in 17x8.5 with a 0 offset and I love them. But a more aggressive offset would be nice.

I lucked out and managed to get a set of SCS Gen 5 in the minute they were available. 17x9 with a -38. It’ll be nice to NOT run a wheel spacer to get the proper offset.

I swear one day back I was on method and saw something in the 700 series with a 17x9 -12.

    I thought… maybe.

Everything that will be going on the Taco next weekend. So hyped for the BR6s. They look so great in person and the gunmetal grey really does hit different than other gunmetal greys that I have seen especially when you look close. Maybe its just the matte finish but these were well worth the wait.

They will be paired with the Eibach 2.0 Pro-truck coilovers and wrapped in 265/75 nitto ridge grapplers. :D

Thanks! It is @AccuTune Offroad Stage 4A, Fox DSC 2.5 front and rear, Icon RXT Stage 2, Icon Delta UCA, Archive Garage bumps, not sure on exact lift height but I have some rake, tires are 275/75/17, and yes CMC/Viper cut (moved plastic front inner fender liner). Definitely recommend a good alignment after fitting large tire sizes.
