Yea I wanted a set of ray10’s for my reg cab I bought, but not being readily available I saw yotamafia having a July 4th on vtx wheels so bought the rogues.

 

if you squint really hard almost to the point of closing them, they look like black ray10s. grats!

I don't have time to read continuous ya ya ya bs. When I get an email for these wheels, the LAST thing I want to spend time doing is reading more internet bickering.

I was going to say, Vin & Vuth have both been extremely responsive and helpful. I've ordered 2 sets from SCS & separate spares from them along with separate order for extra lugs & lug keys. All in all I've never had any issues and they've always been fast to respond and help out with anything -- for example, once a few of the fake beads had fallen out, they sent me some new ones for free i just paid the cost for shipping... no questions asked.

You need a little bit of luck, but also to get everything preloaded in advance of a drop (shipping/billing info, CC Info etc.)


Edit: you guys think buying SCS wheels is hard - go download the snkrs app and try to buy some exclusive sneakers

I just joined a few weeks ago to score a set of Ray 10s (got a set on the second try, had work the day of the first release) and it’s just chaos in here.

I’ll say I was happy with Vin and the company he’s running. I sent an email after the purchase asking about lugs because I forgot to buy at the time. He got back to me the next day and shipped them with the wheels. Little card and decal in the order too, it’s appreciated.

The business model won’t change. He’s has limited supply on an extremely sought after wheels that sells out immediately. Taking preorders, holding sets, etc is a logistical nightmare he doesn’t have to deal with. Why would he take on that process? He gets wheels in, posts their release the morning of and sells out. It’s just the way it works.

I agree with the post before me. Try buying an XBOX or PS5 right now. Try getting Yezzy or Jordan sneakers. It’s not a cake walk to buy a lot of products. It took me weeks stalking Twitter to get a PS5 for my brother in law.

Like others have said; preload your information, move funds to a single account/card, use multiple Windows (computer and phone) and try incognito browsing. You should have no problem getting a set if you can be at the site for release time.

Now let’s all chill out and enjoy the wheels being made.
