Ya I just ordered a set of Falken AT3/W 265/70/17 and getting them put on Wednesday morning. I think you were who I was talking to about having very very minimal rubbing with that tire size and no lift or suspension work. Can you post a pic again of your tires and rims.

Ughhhh. If I could run 35's on my first gen, I'd be all over 17' s. I just feel like 17' s look, Idk, odd, with anything smaller.. Anyone running 17' s on a first gen with 295' s or 305' s?

I really think you're gonna like those Falkens a lot! That's a really respected tire. Should do very well in the snow should you get to see any. I hear they are good in the sand and on rocks. The sidewall is aggressive looking too.

I am really please with the 265's not only because they fit well without any mods but because they look great without a lift. I also compared my speedo with the Waze app and according to it the speedo is dead on. Another good thing is that I feel like the truck is not any slower at all during those times when I punch it. I have read about stalling issues by some off the line. I don't have that issue at all. And on the highway at the posted speed, if I need to pass, no problemo. So as much as I would like to go to 285's and a lift. I may never do it. I may just do a 2" lift. My truck OEM never had much rake anyway. Sometimes I look at it and it looks like zero. Might be the weight of the Bak X2 Revolver tonneau. But I doubt that would bring the back down an inch or two.

As requested though, here's a couple pics to show the stance with no lift, on 265/70r17s.

Thanks for those pics..and god damn that thing is sexy. Ugh Wednesday feels like forever away to see them installed on my truck haha. I also don't know if I want to do a lift I almost committed to the Bilsteins in the front to level it out 2 inches but I figured I need to wait a bit so the wife doesn't kill me after buying the truck a month ago then new tires and the SCS wheels :rofl::rofl:

Thanks  I had a lot of help from a lot of people on here achieving that look. It will be here before you know it and then the Amor'e begins. :laser:

Yea, I was/am in in the same boat as you. I always swear to the wife I will not need to do anything to the new vehicles and as soon as I get them I start to mod them.

New tires, wheels, tint, the tonneau was not cheap, custom decals, vent visors, Horns on Fire emblem, side view mirror mod. It all adds up. I just committed to the interior overhead light mods by @mesojdm for the red map lights and his new led dome lights (which I hope I can get in red too) for both front and back.

Luckily she's as much a modded vehicle fiend as me. Still not good on anyone's bank account though.

Thanks, yea, the 285's do look sweet as hell with the right lift. But the right lift is over a grand so I am saving up for when the 265's wear out. Of course you need to the CMC and pinch weld too but oh well, such is life. Right?

Any way I can pick my order up? I’d rather put the money I paid for shipping towards new lug nuts from SCS.
