I've been searching through all the forums and everyone keeps pushing the Console Vault or one of its copies. I want to retain the quick and easy use of my console however. What I'm really looking for is an underseat solution like I had in my Jeep.

It was the Bestop Model that had a sliding drawer lockable vault that attached via the seat mounting bolts. Has anyone heard of/done something like this? Or would anyone be able to make mounting hardware for the 2nd Gen Taco front seats?

Space is to tight under the Tacoma seats. This wouldn't fit. A Nano vault barely slides under.

Just keep the Console Vault unlocked, quick and easy. You can lock it when you want to.

That is exactly what I do. I think the OP doesn't want to lose any of the console space. I'm glad I got the console vault even if I lose some interior space.
