Hey all. So I drove the '04 DC after it sat for 6 months. It has, for whatever reason, has developed a terrible shake when traveling about 55-60mph. Doesn't matter if it's coasting, accelerating or braking. I noticed it is coming more so from the body/frame rather than the steering wheel.
I've checked loose lug nuts, play in BJs, slop in tie rods, looseness in control arms. Everything seems tight up front. The carrier bearing DOES have a tiny amount of slop in it. But im not sure if it's enough to cause a vibration like this. I don't have any experience with them. I've noticed the rear driver wheel is the only wheel with a single weight. And it's on the inside of the wheel. Not sure if it lost some weights or what. I've recently (as it was sitting), changed differential oil, transmission fluid, transfer case fluid and engine oil. I know nothing from that can really cause this shimmy. Not sure if there's anything I could do with this routine maintenance that could cause this
I have yet to put it up on stands and swap wheels around. As well as have somebody get inside and turn the wheel to check the steering rack. But again, it feels like the shake is not coming front. The shake is coming from under your ass, not from the hands on the wheel.

What else is there to check?
    Thanks a bunch!

*edit: I was informed that radial ply tires will not flat spot from sitting. And even did, I was religious moving the truck around once every 2 weeks.

    I had same thing

    radial tires all corners

The RF tire formed a bubble under the radial layer……so tread was not level on portion of the circumference
RR’d the tire the weird shake/wobble gone

if 100% sure all tires ‘round’ get all tires balanced firstly

Yeah I should note that the truck did sit for close to 6 months, allll summer long. However I did make the point of moving it around once a month to ensure the tires didn't get any sort of flat spots. But I am still going to go get them checked and balanced.

Did that carrier bearing look normal??

I drove mine short distances(kids to school/to grocery) for good period of time
Then drove on a hot summer 3hr trip
On the way back, I couldn’t go over 65
Figured that trip made tire bubble happen

I will reply to that CB thread….
