I got the Faulkens 265 75 16 and don't recommend them at all. The tread width is skinny and the actual tread looks like they are half worn brand new. They need to be overinflated so they don't look flat. They are good in the snow, but won't be good in real off road situations. Totally disappointed and will be replacing them soon. You get what you pay for. JUNK

Just when I wrote nobody had anything bad to say about the Falkens...looks like I spoke too soon. Thanks for the honest feedback.

I consider a tire buy a major decision that one has to live with for 4-5 years...so, I'm doing my due diligence...even though it's kind of a PITA...

The new General Grabber X3 looks pretty good. If I was looking for a Duratrac replacement this would be in the running.

That's a sweet looking tire...saw it before and looked into it.

Smallest size is 31X10.50R15LT and weighs 55 lbs. Too big for our 4 banger, but a great looking tire.

No problem, I'm searching for tires also. I looked at DT and remembered 4WP has some pretty good sales sometimes.

The way 4 Wheel Parts words it is a bit hard to understand...

Is it $50 on a promo gift card + $50 off? Kinda don't think that's what they mean. I think it's $50 off total...

BUT, if you put the tires in your cart and don't check out, they'll send you an email for an additional 5% off... :headbang::headbang::headbang::jellydance::kona::spending:

That's probably the only one that's said something about Falken I've had the ps and sls they've both been good. You will have to find out for your self brother. I'm sorry I'm not paying that much for a set of BFG when these do the same if not better for cheaper. I've had Ko2s and the original. These falkens blew me away i wish I had all that money i wasted on them bfg's. :annoyed: but now Falken:muscleflexing:.
Good luck bub let us know what you get!

Think the P rated Wildpeaks will work fine. I've driven all over different terrain and environments with my stock OR wrangled. They are 2-4ply ties as well. No punctures or anything. I might just get P rated Wildpeaks if I can't get the E rated ones here to Kodiak for a decent price..

Wow, you've had the KO2s and the KOs and now the Falkens...so you are definitely speaking from personal experience. The KO2s look more rugged, it sounds like the sidewalls are thicker and the side biters look like they actually provide some functionality vs. mostly cosmetics. But, I wouldn't be surprised if they only outshined the Falkens in some gnarly OR situations... Just looking at the tires, I would think the Falkens are quieter and better in wet/snow conditions...Gotta give it to the KO2s on looks. Not taking anything away from the Falken. It's a decent looking tire.
Thanks for the feedback, Dhannah.

They could run that fast break...and his baseline move was pretty sweet. :ohsnap:

So, between the KO2s and Falkens...which would you buy?

 Wow. That's messed up. Gotta wonder how many miles are on that puppy...still shouldn't wear like that. Guy I'm working with at DT says the wear issues he sees on KO2s are on bigger trucks, especially ones that do a lot of towing...he wouldn't recommend them in that scenario...

Price of wheels and tires + your 2nd gen would make a nice down payment on a 3rd gen.
    Just saying
They all seem kinda expensive to me!
