    I bounce it offa stuff.
    Then do shorties. I know that around here (MD) there's a number of shops that will just sign off an inspection for a couple bucks. I'm not endorsing this practice. Simply stating I know it happens.

    No, the Y and the rest of the piping was made from scratch custom. lol I just had them weld in 2 cats as they made the Y.

    just get the o2 sims and do whatever you want. lol

    I love my Spec-U's

    Do they just computer check and gas cap you? I have the URD Y and I hear this is how they test you in my county.

    yep. no visual inspection. just a scan via the OBDII and gas cap.

    That's how my truck got tested but I think they also walk around with a mirror to check and make sure that you have your cats

    Who made your y? I'm wondering if I can just go to an exhaust shop. I really want to keep my back cats just in case and on top of that i heard that these engines get really really loud with no cats

    yes.. they can get plenty loud. lol I went from Straight piped, to adding one set of cats, to adding a Resonator plus an Aero.. to replacing the resonator and aero with a Borla and Magnaflow mufflers.. now its uiet, no rasp, little rumble under load. perfect IMO.

    i got a flowmaster 10 series and a URD y pipe, and it aint loud enough. it has lots of rasp, but it makes people back off on the highway

    that Aero is pretty comparable.. and I got tired of it real quick.

    yeah. a small Borla, then a 11x5 Magnaflow.
