if you take the doors off of a Jeep, you know what you’re in for. Imagine the suction sound of a vacuum cleaner always present. And the harder you hit the gas... the louder the sound would be. People here complain about exhaust drone or tire sounds while driving down the highway, an sucking sound would be way worse.

And yes air would come front outside, obviously. But where would it enter the vehicle? Cars a sealed up pretty well these days to reduce road noise. They have valves that open to allow air to escape but they are not designed for constant air flow. So you would essentially make more road noise because of the removal of these devices. You would also have to add a filter or else reduce constantly sucking road debris and dust in to the cabin.

There is a reason why no car manufacturer has ever put the engine air intake in the passenger compartment.

Market it as a anti theft device.

Could the engine suck out all the interior air?

I'm thinking more of a racing application. No windows, minimal interior pieces. That would defeat the clean interior air approach, but I only have about ten minutes invested in this hypotheses.

This is the kind of math problem I like!

If Johnny idles out of his garage towards the street, and the vehicle has a 22CFM air consumption at that speed, will the engine cut out before he suffocates, or after Karen t-bones his lifeless body and vehicle in the road while texting and driving.

supposed to be more than last one with more reasons to get more, like kids and such. Also heard medical personnel may get hazard pay on top of it. No idea yet though

hahaha thats the basic algebra one. But don’t forget the advanced one; same question, but how will that be affected by Johnny carrying 105 apples with a volume of 0.56 cubic feet. At rolling speed on a 4% incline (friction ignored) how many feet will Johnny roll before his engine cuts out

I still not loving this snorkel, but they are getting better and better with each new one that releases.

Would be nice if meso would just sign a damn contract with china and produce his.

Or even just keep what he currently offers in stock
